I can't remember the last time I served cake on a fancy pedestal.  Maybe never.  But...this pedestal can be used for so much more than just serving cake!  It could work as a centerpiece on a dining room table, or on a counter top to hold fresh fruit or snacks, and just think of all the cupcakes and cookies this plate could hold?  I have been obsessed with these since they came in!
